This truly magnificent hat by famous designer B MICHAEL looks like it was not worn, since the tag is still attached showing a price of $425. The round crown is flat at the top and is made of aqua and purple colored felt. The wide, upturned brim is made of the same aqua felt on the visible area, and purple felt on the other side which is inside the hat. The visible part of the brim is cut into a beautiful design edged with purple and teal colored feathers. There are rhinestones dotted on the brim as shown in the photos as well as around the crown where both felt colors meet. This is a breathtaking hat! Label: B MICHAEL + PRICE TAG ATTACHED B MICHAEL hats first became popular during the 1980s when the designer created millinery for the TV show Dynasty, and later peaked through the 1990s and 2000s as his signature couture hats gained a following among socialites and A-list celebrities. Please keep in mind that you are buying a vintage hat, not new nor perfect! This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, furs, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age. Mannequin not for sale.
